For over 30 years, Betty has been helping adults and teens gain the skills and support they need to learn to read, write, and earn high school diplomas. She has provided services from tutoring and teaching to developing new literacy centers – impacting thousands of lives. Thanks to her efforts, the Literacy Council of Prince George’s County has increased their services by 600% and become recognized as high performer for the state of Maryland. |
